Harwood's Hole

A short bush walk in Kahurangi National Park leading to Harwood's Hole, a 176m vertical limestone shaft that drops straight down to an underground river. A side trail from the same car park leads to Gorge Creek Lookout, with sweeping views over the Tākaka Valley toward Nelson. Unfenced and unmaintained by DOC - stay well back from the edge.
